Pekanbaru, LiterasiAktual.com – Dewan Kesenian Riau kembali menggelar program musik tahunan Rarak Cipta Musik tahun 2024. Malam ini (23/6/2024), program ini digelar di panggung Otong Lenon, Taman Budaya Riau.
Ketua Dewan Kesenian Riau, Taufik Hidayat atau disapa Atan Lasak menjelaskan bahwa tema yang diusung pada Rarak Cipta Musik tahun 2024 ini adalah “ritus/ritual”.
Tahun ini, kami memilih tema ritual. Ritual melibatkan bunyi-bunyian dan bunyi-bunyian ini diterjemahkan ke dalam emosi oleh para komposer.” ungkap Taufik Hidayat, ketua Dewan Kesenian Riau,
“Program ini berlangsung hingga tahun 2022. Program ini sangat dibutuhkan karena perkembangan teknologi yang begitu pesat telah menyebabkan kematian seniman tradisional. Itulah sebabnya kami menyelenggarakan program ini kembali. Kami berharap akan muncul seniman-seniman baru dari program ini karena program ini mendorong para seniman dalam berkarya,” tambahnya.

Lebih lanjut, Hj. Sahrona menambahkan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu tugas dari objek promosi budaya.
“Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu tugas kami sebagai objek promosi budaya Riau. Dimana salah satu kebudayaan itu sendiri adalah ritus, kami sangat mendukung sekali yang berkaitan dengan objek promosi kebudayaan, terutama yang berkecimpung di bidang kesenian,” ujar Hj. Sahrona.
