PEKANBARU, LITERASIAKTUAL.COM – Penjabat (Pj) Wali Kota Pekanbaru Muflihun menginginkan layanan dasar kesehatan dapat menjangkau warga yang tinggal di pinggiran ataupun pedalaman di Kota Pekanbaru. Sehingga, setiap warga memiliki akses atau bisa mendapatkan layanan kesehatan saat membutuhkan obat atau perawatan.
Hal ini disampaikan Pj Wali Kota Pekanbaru, Muflihun, Selasa (31/1). Menurutnya, setiap warga seharusnya berhak mendapatkan layanan kesehatan.
“Semua masyarakat harus tersentuh dengan pelayanan kesehatan,” ujarnya.
Menurutnya, masih banyak warga di pinggiran yang tidak punya kendaraan atau alat transportasi. Sehingga sulit sekali datang ke fasilitas kesehatan seperti Puskesmas dan rumah sakit.
Berdasarkan peninjauan ini, maka pihaknya bersama semua jajaran legislatif dan eksekutif berupaya untuk meluncurkan program Kurma Manis. Dengan menyediakan layanan dokter on call pada program ini.
“Ada yang sakit, tidak punya kendaraan, harus menunggu ada tetangga yang punya kendaraan. Kita sangat berharap sekali, program ini bisa menjangkau warga di pinggiran, di pedalaman. Sehingga tidak ada lagi yang kesulitan untuk menjangkau layanan kesehatan,” jelasnya.
Selain itu, setelah meluncur sejak Senin (30/1) kemarin, ia meminta Dinas Kesehatan (Diskes) Kota Pekanbaru secara rutin melakukan evaluasi terkait layanan kesehatan yang diberikan. Sehingga kekurangan dalam layanan ini bisa terus mendapatkan perbaikan.
“Kita juga harus peka dengan isu-isu kesehatan dan berupaya untuk segera melakukan penanganan. Evaluasi harus selalu dilakukan, agar kita menjadi lebih baik lagi melayani masyarakat,” pungkasnya.
